Yes! We are proud to be Milwaukee’s most affordable wedding and event venue. We offer seasonal promotions, including up to 25% off select dates, complimentary ceremonies (with reception booking), flexible beverage options, and flexible vendor options to fit your budget.

Do you offer wedding ceremony and reception packages?

Absolutely. Book your wedding reception and receive a complimentary ceremony (an $850 value), plus access to our greenery backdrop and champagne wall. We also offer Sunday wedding packages at discounted rates.

Can I bring my own food and beverages to The Clybourn?

Yes! We are a BYOB wedding venue. You can bring in your own cuisine and (some) beverages or work with your preferred caterer. Food trucks are also welcome and can park right in front of the venue.

How many people can The Clybourn accommodate?

Our venue can comfortably host up to 200 guests, making it ideal for both intimate and large-scale celebrations.

Is there parking available for guests?

Yes, we have multiple free parking lots nearby and convenient street parking available.

What amenities are included with the venue rental?

Your rental includes:

Do you offer Sunday wedding discounts?

Yes! Our Sunday Weddings are the perfect way to save while still having a beautiful and stylish wedding. You can host a ceremony and reception between 12-7 PM or 1-8 PM at a discounted rate.

Can I choose my own vendors?

Yes! We give you full freedom to bring your own florist, DJ, photographer, caterer, and more. Recommendations are available upon request.

Is The Clybourn LGBTQ+ friendly?

Absolutely. Love is love. We welcome and celebrate all couples.

Do you provide a coordinator or staff on the day of my event?

Yes. Our on-site venue director and staff are here to help things run smoothly, from setup to breakdown.

What makes The Clybourn different from other Milwaukee venues?

We combine elegance, affordability, and flexibility. Our renovated 1900s venue offers unique architectural charm, exposed wood and brick details, multiple lounges, and a relaxed BYOB policy. Plus, we only host one event per day, ensuring you have our full attention.

Why did The Clybourn change its beverage service?

Starting January 1, 2026, Wisconsin’s new Barn Law requires all wedding venues, community centers, barns, and event spaces to operate under a Tavern B liquor license. This applies statewide and affects how alcohol is served at events.

Can we still bring our own beverages?

Yes—limited BYOB is still allowed. You may bring certain beverages such as soda, water, mixers, and non-alcoholic drinks. Ask our team for the full list of what’s permitted.

Are there minimums or required drink packages?

No! There are no minimum spend requirements, no guest spending minimums, and no forced packages. You only pay for what your guests choose.

Can we host a non-alcoholic wedding or event?

Absolutely. Non-alcoholic weddings and events are always welcome at The Clybourn.

Is The Clybourn still affordable?

Yes! We continue to offer some of the most affordable drink packages in the industry, keeping The Clybourn one of Milwaukee’s most budget-friendly venues.

  The clybourn was where we had our wedding reception. Owners were amazing, so easy to get into contact with and ask questions to. They also are very flexible and allow you to bring in whoever you want to cater or other vendors. They also allow you to stock your own bar and just pay a bartending fee, which saves us SO much money. This way we didn’t need to buy specific, expensive bar packages from a vendor. The venue itself also has getting ready rooms which were amazing! Highly recommend!

  How do you even begin to start explaining just how wonderful a venue and their owner is? Wow. Wow. Wow. That's all my husband and I can say. We wanted a completely tailored-to-us wedding where we would have freedom to really let our personalities shine. Clai, The Clybourn, and his team were absolutely incredible from the beginning and throughout our planning process to support us really pulling that dream off. The industrial look of the room mixed with the modern lighting elements and the big huge windows lining the front of the space really just allowed the outdoors to come in. The light shined through so gorgeously during our vows. Being able to see the city lights at night really gave us that city vibe we were looking for without having to be right downtown. Clai allowed all our requested vendors, there were no vendors that were off limits. His team was extremely thorough with the final walk through, we felt like I had all the information we needed right up front, and if we had any questions, they were answered within a couple days, which in wedding world, is basically 2 minutes. There were a couple hiccups throughout the day - totally out of everyone's control, (it was me totally me forgetting to do something lol!!) but there were a team of people there on wedding day willing and ready to help us with anything and that truly just made me feel so secure and less stressed. We danced the night away, had the absolute best bartender provided by The Clybourn, we got nothing but compliments on Devonte all night long. We talk about our wedding almost every other day. We loved every moment and we are so happy that we get to look back and say we really got everything we could have ever wanted. Thank you Clai and The Clybourn team for taking on our rowdy wedding party and big family and large group of friends. It was a night we will never forget thanks to you all.
